Gaming challenge for Blogging from A to Z

I stopped the Ett Foto I Timmen for a while because I don't know what to blog every hour while staying at home; because of the pandemic and having the same routine. My days are of course the same without the thrills of going out. I am ok with this, but I don't see how such a life could be mentioned on a blog; and a specific theme for my blog was hard to find because I am not an expert in a specific field. I just uploaded some gaming videos on youtube and facebook to encourage people to stay at home. I also almost gave up uploading because people seem to be more interested in going out (whatever one may find interesting in the city these days) instead of being interested in art, gaming, books, phylosophy and many other themes to discuss on so many social media channels. Yesterday I saw Igor's Belltower's challenge announcement and I checked out her link . As I don't have anything to blog about every hour, a theme like this on my blog would be nice. Today I st...
Capillary schedule again

I decided to do a capillary schedule again . My hair felt soft, even if it was once a week and buying 3 types of conditioner. The reason why I go back to a capillary schedule is because I tend to forget to give my hair the moisture-nutrition-repair it needs. I only condition my hair when it feels dry, but it feels especially dry in summer. We have dry summers here in north-west of Germany. Talk about climate change ... ETA: when I had the idea to start my capilary schedule, it was hot outside. Now it's autumn time. I get cold faster so I may need to wash my hair 2 times a week, because steam showers: mondays and thursdays. Because I wash my hair twice a week in winter I will chose the first two rows of the weekly schedule. 1st Month 27th August - HYDRATION first, NUTRITION next Monday 31st August - NUTRITION. 3rd September - NUTRITION again. 7th September - HYDRATON. 10th September - HYDRATION. 13th September - NUTRITION. I had to wash my hair because I had to go to ...

It's so organized. 😇 08:00 I drink more tea and less coffee. Just like I eat less meat and more veggies, just like I eat less and drink tea. I just had to write down some ideas before I start the day. Read the story on wattpad . (shopping fotos 9 u. 10 uhr, 11 foto eingekauftes, 12 post) 09:00 I started to read Pope Joan by DOnna W. Cross. It's nice, captivating book I'll review later. 10:00 I usually check out the long hair community without engaging too much into forum discussions. 11:00 my updos look pretty minimalistic when it comes to going outside. 12:00 I don't really like to photograph what I eat... 13:00 I decided to participate in a real photography exhibition so I made a money pool for that. I described the whole story in another blog entry , in hope I will gather mor...
Survive at least one month quarantined

Let's make it clear from the start: it's easy for a hermit to love being alone. Unfortunatelly I read in the news or my friends post how bored people in general are because they must drink coffee at home instead in a café. Anyway, I challenged myself to blog and vlog my quarantine life for a month. Documenting my lifestyle blog 😒 Today, 15.06.2020: I sleep a lot and I am glad I discovered sleep since the corona crisis. Corona crisis hit me like " the oncoming train " and I realized I missed sleeping a lot. It also made me realize those new consumerism stuff aren't that new anymore. They recyle old themes with a horn blasting sound and dazling visual effects but there's no soul in that movie or music video; so I go back in the 70's or 80's. I actually watched any Kaurismäki film I could find on youtube (planning to order a collection of movies by Kaurismäki). I listened to old rock 'n roll songs and honestly I felt instantly better. I feel goo...
Book review: Die Verschmelzung (Natural history) by Justina Robson

So what do you do when quarantined? You clean your house and find old books to read. I instantly liked this book because it was written by Justina Robson, one of my favorite authors. If you think this novel is a bit hard to grasp, take it slower. Best read it when you are not tired. It's a story that requires a focused approach on reading. It's okay to have a friend or a family member read this book so you can talk about points you might be missing. Reviews are okay as long as they don't contain spoilers I suppose. The first half of the book makes you think there may not be an actual story happening. There seem to be a collection of worlds described in a random order without any apparent connection between them; reminds a bit of absurdist fiction . It's also good if you take it as a hypothesis instead of trying to grasp a linear structure. It was like I read an essay disguised as a s.f. novel, quite close to what Erich von Däniken writes, but enveloped in a s.f. story....
Why do we deny climate change?

Scientists as well as the media knew about climate change since the 50's (!), but oil companies and getting rich fast in an unsustainable economy were further supported by politicians. Fast forward to 2018, when Greta Thunberg started "her" Fridays for future , scientists and ecologists all around the world got courage to tell the truth . The reason why we keep denying climate change is because we did nothing since the 50's and now, suddenly, all we hear and read is that we're going extinct in 30 to 100 years! (Don't forget the point-of-no-return happening in probably 30 years if we're lucky(!)) The Paris Agreement was signed just few years ago, but all went well until some kids started demanding from politicians to do something about the earth warming. Yeah! like those politicians would ever care about us; now I even have to give up eating animal produce and driving my car to work (mostly 40 km away from home) to sustain an unsustainable economy . ...

Today I uploaded my first photo on wikimedia commons. I hope this link works for you because I can't log off my wikimedia account and view my profile as someone else. Anyway, this means I'm getting more and more popular as (hobby) photographer. The bigger surprise for me came after I finished uploading my photo. It's about challenges ! (Again, I don't know if links from wikimedia are available for those who don't have an account or are not logged in). Challenges like GuruShots , where professional and hobby photographers alike upload their best photos to get a little insight as photographers. I'm in! I just found another site where I can get a lot of views, be motivated by challenges and good quality photos and I don't get my inbox spammed with each and every like I receive (I'm talking about Instagram, where I had the feeling they don't even check my photos! Too many likes in too short time can't be something serious right?).

Because my husband is busy working on projects, I decided to share his youtube and soundcloud links to promote his work as an artist and aquire subscribers. I already joined certain group s some time ago but they were never active until the beginning of this year. Now these groups are so active I receives so many notifications I can't even follow anymore. I mean we receive a lot of subscribing requests and we are thankful for it. I am just begining to get more subscribers on twitter . #WritingCommunity has so many wonderful active #writers who makes #bookboost even more fun. It's not like I only spend time on social media without actually working on projects . I'm co-writer on my husband's projects , which means if I have an idea that could be useful for one of our projects, again, I forget about social media and focus on writing. I am also a hobby-photographer so naturally I have a little photography community on GuruShots , viewbug and pixoto , where...
GuruShots exhibition challenges

I decided to participate on GuruShots exhibition challenges even though right now I don't have money to participate. I find it interesting to see how good my photos are and if they have a chance to win an exhibition. When I will gather the money and the experience I will subscribe and travel to the place where my photo will be exhibited. Right now my photos are mostly on elite level in exhibition challenges. I wanted to create accounts on gofoundme, kofi or patreon, but I hate having to blog all over the place so I guess you can help me with a donation directly on my paypal , without any fuss and fees on other websites. As I also see, due to changing my blogger website I lost all my subscribers. Thanks a bunch, google, you can't even redirect a thing... anyway, I hope it stays like this for a very long time so I can gather my friends together again on this new blogspot link.
Child Protection packaging

I bought a simple honey pot from a supermarketand I had serious problem figuring out how to open the package in the first place . Then my husband tried to open the package but he hurt his fingers. So it's actually more important to protect lazy adults from taking care of their children, than to educate the population about taking care of themselves. I am beginning to have the fear to buy a product because I don't know if I can open the package. I lived at the border of Bukarest, where people still had a small farm. My grandma had chickens, hens, a rooster, pigeons, ducks and a dog at one time or another. I learned that my grandma used some pink grains against rats. Yes, where there is a farm, there are definitely also rats who'd love to eat a chicken. When my grandma told me I am not allowed to check out this or that place, I DIDN'T! She explained to me the things I explained to you above, and that's it. I didn't even need to cry, shout, destroy things...
We need our nature back

It was never so bad as this year (yes, 2019). My neighbors began cutting down trees and hedges all over the area. Since 4 years ago, since I live here I saw yet another tree gone, yet another hedge replaced with wood fences. I mean what's the idea behind it? Why cutting trees to create wood fences? Just because they don't want to sweep the fallen leaves once a year probably? courtesy of web.de The areas where I live and work have become empty without those magestic trees and bushes . These trees still exist, thank God. Unfortunatelly I am not allowed to show you much of my area, because it's private area... you know... Of course people actually complained about the fact that they should leave nature alone. Many of those comments don't even have anything to do with the article. Insert German lesson of the day: meckern (complaining). Honestly I am prepared not to hear any more electric saw in summer. Have a nice day and let me know if you think this ...
