I decided I don't want to pay for unnecesary services to make my blog look professional. It's not about the domain name but the servicess you offer. Right now I am still at the beginning of my blogging journey so I barelly have views on my blog. I am not chasing fame or followers that will unsubscribe in a few days. I read tips and tricks about how to be a professional blogger but this is how trust in a blogger is shattered; those who chase the money and the followers. I'd like to focous on my work as hobby photographer and writer instead of how much money I could lose. There are people who are quite famous for totally different thing(s) on Instagram or any other account without paying for a professional website. I also decided that less is more when it comes to social media accounts. So that's why I decided to keep it simple. Isn't it wonderful how ideas pop from anywhere around us? Just yesterday evening I read one of my favorite magazines . The strange but wonderful thing is: I got an idea for a haiku by just reading the main titles of the a-tempo magazine; and just checking out the grammar, of course (unfortunately the Internet version of the magazine doesn't show the titles I've seen on the paperback version). The first version of my Haiku is of course in German: Am Rande der Nacht die Tür angelehnt an Deinem Licht I also translated it in English and I like the English version just as much as I like the initial version. Wordpress is an abomination! Period. A lot of my friends on Blogspot already know me because of my hair blog . I have to work on this Blogger layout but it's not that bad, not as bad as Wordpress. Meanwhile I tried to write a lot of usless stuff on Wordpress but some things are important to me and probably just as useful for you. 1. I participate quite regularily (looking forward to do it more often) on photo contests. GuruShots , ViewBug and Pixoto are my favorites. 2. I quit my facebook page, only using my personal facebook account for pretty much anything. 3. On 19.
